I've always enjoyed making my own greeting cards whenever I attend a special event for a friend or family member.  When people receive something that they know is handmade and was created with them in mind, their delight shows in their face.  So many people save keepsakes of special moments in their lives in journals and scrapbooks, it's nice to know that the card I have given will be treasured for years to come.

Over the years, I have designed and created wedding invitations for a number of friends and family members. When two of my best friends decided to get married within five months of each other, and both asked me to design their invitations, I decided to dedicate more time to making custom stationery for others.

I enjoy working with people to create mini "works of art" that reflect both the taste of the client and the fun style of elle tee design.

My inspiration comes from magazines (home, crafts, fashion, DIY), interesting websites, things I see on TV and in movies, posters and store fronts on the street, advertisements on the subway - design is everywhere!  But I am also inspired by the style, ideas, and personalities of my friends and loved ones, co-workers, strangers on the street and people that I meet every day.
